The real deal

The real dealI’ve been receiving a lot of feedback regarding my previous post, and as such, I have decided to speak more of the matter, in the interest of regular readers and random blog visitors whom I can help simply by telling the truth and presenting things as they are.

.

You might notice that several blogs or websites that advertise or promote supposed ‘investigative services’ lack a lot of transparency. Most simply have a generic email or a mobile phone number you use to contact them – which, as I would like to remind you, are both easy to produce on the fly and are thus completely disposable and expendable. Rarely have I seen agencies with fixed addresses or offices.

.

This kind of practice begs the question of why these agencies are so afraid to post a means through which clients can reach them easily, even after the case has been ‘resolved’. As I’ve said before, mobile phone numbers and email addresses, even websites themselves, are easily replaced. Are they afraid of follow-ups from clients? While even good investigators suffer the occasional glitch that really entails extra work that is outside a pre-agreed on terms – no job is perfect, and loose ends are not always tied out – they are never afraid to give their clients a meant through which they can readily be contacted for further assistance.

.

On the other hand, agencies who withhold vital contact information are suspicious at best. Why? Because legitimate agencies that are confident in the quality of their work have absolutely no reason to hide themselves from clients, and thus do not hesitate to display all the pertinent contact information so that not just new but former clients can readily reach them. Agencies, on the other hand, which have outstanding tasks that have yet to be completed, or are guilty of botching up an investigation are wary of being traced by angry or dissatisfied customers and clients. Many of them don’t even have an official business name.

.

For prospective clients, you must always be sure first of the agency you are approaching before you commit to them fully. After all, they become privy to certain sensitive issues and facts in your life, and it is important the agency you are paying a retainer to can be trusted 100%, because it is not accountable only to you, but to all other former and future clients.

.

The first thing you should look at is the contact details. As said before, mobile numbers and emails can easily be replaced should the need arise. Office addresses and business names, on the other hand, are harder to throw away. I advise you to visit these offices, and see how the day to day operations progresses. If you can, make repeated visits with significant intervals so that you can be sure that the agency isn’t going to leave or disappear anytime soon.

.

Also, look for agency with an established company name. Chances are, agencies like mine, Thailand-Investigation.com, have been around for a while and has already built a reputation you can trust.

I will attest to Michel’s agency’s reliability and legitimacy. As one of his former clients, I have no regrets hiring him to do a job for me, and will not hesitate to do so again if a situation arises. I had him and his people handle a really sticky and difficult case, and whenever they were not on schedule, they always had good reasons to be. In the end, my case was resolved, and I was very satisfied with the results. I believe I could not have chosen a better private investigator to handle my problem.

It’s a good thing that I read this post because I have been looking for a good investigation agency I can approach regarding my problem with my girlfriend. I have been to other websites and agencies but I am turned off by the lack of information they have in their websites, and also, I feel that they are not professional. They are cheap, but I had a bad feeling about them so I tried searching some more. I am happy to have found this blog and will contact the agency soon. Thank you very much.

BBHarper: Thank you very much for your referral. It really helps that former clients are taking the time to come forward to say and talk about their experiences with my service so that other people can see proof that what I am saying is true.

JD: Well, for both our sakes I am glad you did find this blog. Your problem with your girlfriend is one of the most common cases I get, and I am well experienced in handling these types of cases. It is good that you thought twice before committing to those agencies because chances are you have been ripped off. Looking forward to hearing from you.
