It’s a wonderful country, filled with lots of surprises, good food, good people, and much, much more. But blogs like this serve as a way to let people know that no place or country is perfect, and even such a great thing like love can be used by some to cheat and take advantage of other people. I applaud you for doing this. It’s always easy to see the good things, and most often people turn a blind eye to the bad, which may lead to their downfall. Keep posting! I love Thailand. Visited this for the first time. It’s really great how the internet can give information like this. It’s very helpful. Anyways, I really agree with all the posts you have here. Very sensible and practical advice. I’m a first timer to Thailand, and I’m sure if I didn’t read this, I’d be totally clueless to the dark side of this country, because coming in here I was struck by the beauty of the country and it’s people. Even though I had friends who’ve had bad experiences here, it wouldn’t have remembered them, much less known how to prevent such things from happening to me. Thanks again and keep on posting!
