Dealing with Missing Persons Cases

I am of the opinion that cases involving finding missing people is probably one of the most difficult, if not THE most difficult, aspects of my work. But it is also the most rewarding one. Most often missing cases are hardly ever given a minute’s notice by law enforcement, except in exceptional cases. Sometimes it happens that we get a case or two which involves people being involved in some kind of illegal activity. Most often, they never really know what’s happening or what laws they broke – they were scammed into committing illegal acts. Sometimes there are also people who involve themselves in it because of the money or payoff involved – and oftentimes their rationale is because no one gets hurt. . Let us just say this up front: We really believe that Thailand is a wonderful country. We’ve been here for so many years, and we appreciate the warmth and the culture of the people here. However, nothing is perfect. We have had many clients that have found themselves disillusioned and lost because they became victims of some of the society’s lesser and baser elements.
